Bridget A. Young, DMD

Dr Young’s grandfather originated the practice, establishing it in the ground floor of the building in the present location. Dr Young worked for her grandfather at the young age of 12 in the dental office doing everything from chairside assisting to filing patient charts. She attended Dental School at University of Louisville, and received a commission in the US Air Force following graduation in 1997. She was stationed at Keesler AFB in Biloxi, Mississippi. Wanting to gain as much practical knowledge as possible she completed clinical rotations in the dental specialties of Oral Surgery, Endodontics (root canal fillings), Periodontics (gum health), Operative Dentistry (fillings), and Prosthodontics (Crown and Bridge). It was in Biloxi where she met Dr. Linehan, also stationed with the USAF. Following one tour with the Air Force, Dr. Young returned to Louisville and revived the closed practice of her grandfather in 2001.
